Terms of use

These terms are an agreement between you and CardSearch AI LLC ("CardSearch," "we," or "us"). By using the site or app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use CardSearch.

CardSearch is a research tool. We show display prices, recent sales, trusted listings, price history, and a read from our Lyrax assistant, and we give you a place to track your collection.

We are not a marketplace, a broker, an auction house, or a financial advisor. We do not buy, sell, hold, grade, or ship cards, and we are not a party to any deal you make somewhere else.

Every price, sold comp, score, and "good buy" note is information for collectors. It is not investment, tax, or financial advice, and it is not a promise of value or profit. Card prices move, and the past is not a guarantee of the future.

Prices come from third parties and from our own estimates. They can be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. When our data is thin, we say so instead of guessing. Always do your own research before you spend money.

Listings come from third-party marketplaces. They can change, end, sell out, or be mislabeled at any time. Before you buy, check the item, the seller, the exact card and grade, and the total price including shipping and fees.

Any purchase is between you and that seller or marketplace, under their rules. We are not responsible for the item, the transaction, or the outcome.

Some links out to marketplaces include affiliate or partner tags, such as the eBay Partner Network. If you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. It never changes the price you pay, and it does not change the prices or listings we show you. Affiliate tracking loads only if you allow affiliate cookies.

You can use much of CardSearch without an account. If you create one, keep your login details safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

The cards and notes you save are yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to run the service for you, such as showing your collection and its value. Your collection is private and is not shown to other users. How we handle your data is covered in our Privacy Policy.

You agree not to:

• scrape, copy, or resell our data or pages beyond normal personal use;
• hammer or abuse our systems, APIs, or rate limits;
• try to break in, reverse-engineer, or get around our security;
• use CardSearch to break the law, defraud anyone, or infringe rights.

We may pause or close access that breaks these rules.

The CardSearch site, brand, design, original text, and the Lyrax assistant are ours. Please do not copy or reuse them without permission.

Card names, images, set data, prices, and marketplace content belong to their owners. Pokémon and related names and images are trademarks of Nintendo, Creatures Inc., and GAME FREAK. eBay, TCGplayer, and PSA are trademarks of their owners. CardSearch is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of them.

CardSearch is offered "as is" and "as available." We work hard to be accurate and online, but we do not promise the service will be uninterrupted, complete, or error-free, or that any price or listing is correct. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim the implied warranties that would otherwise apply.

To the fullest extent the law allows, CardSearch is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any buying or selling decision you make using our information. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the past twelve months, or 100 USD if you paid us nothing.

(Some places do not allow these limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.)

We are growing fast, so features can change, and we may add, pause, or remove parts of the service. We may also update these terms. If we make a meaningful change, we will update the date at the top of this page. If you keep using CardSearch after a change, that means you accept the new terms.

You can stop using CardSearch any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken or to protect the service and its users.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be handled in the courts located there, unless the law requires otherwise.
